How To Gain +10k Followers In 4 Days
Focus on Emotions, not information - Focus on Emotion, Not Information - The goal of your content should evoke a feeling. Excitement, Optimism, Laughter, Comforted, etc. Information is abundant. Especially on TikTok, people are most often on the app to escape from reality or learn about new rabbit holes to induce their curiosity.

Raise the consumer’s social status when they share your content - When they share your content with their friends, it should paint them as the “cool” person for doing so.
Don’t use an intro or an outro, just get into it
Create a backlog of content before going viral - The purpose is to be prepared when your time comes so all the traffic coming towards you can be nurtured without any more work. The content in your backlog should be videos that you love to create and deliver as much value to the other person as possible
Self Validation Creating > Social Validation Creating - This happened when I just got back from my 2-month break. I burnt out from Feb to May of this year. I didn’t have a content creation system plan in place. Until I sat down, created a notion template to show up 3x a week, & the rest is history. I found my perfect system I can easily follow even on my worst days. Every week’s goal: 7 tiktoks, 2x email newsletters, & long form video/livestream: Monday - Scripting all, Wed - Recording all, editing all, & publishing on rest days (Sat, Sun, Tue, & Thu). This is where I get my dopamine from, not from the likes or followers or anything outside of my control.
Turn your philosophy into a framework - Your knowledge can be simplified into 1 page chart. That’s what I did with Ego Evolution Theory. This makes your content easy to digest. You just record yourself with your phone & done (Fast & easy).
Use stitches more often/native platform features - Stitching a TikTok that is relevant to what you’re going to talk about in your content helps boost since it kinda feels like it’s a social proof kinda thing. Humans seeing other humans doing what you’re talking about gives a slight sorta social proof to what you’re saying.
Speak like you’re an expert or an enthusiastic student - If you sell products or services, speak in an authoritative tone of voice or as a highly excited student who just discovered something amazing and wants to share with you (a friend) tone of voice. It makes it more human. Give both a shot. Reject one-dimensional thinking.
Start Lean, Then Bulk - Create videos with minimal editing to not waste so much time editing if you don’t know if the video will be a banger. Just like in bulking & cutting cycles in bodybuilding, the same can go with editing. Bulking seasons = tons of edits, cutting seasons = minimal editing being lean with the editing cutting all the fancy visuals, getting to the core of your message, and seeing if it sticks. Once you find a message that your audience is resonating with, now you can go ahead and do more highly edited content because you know what truly hits and what doesn’t. Avoid burning out quickly in your journey.
Delete your videos that are flops (that get under 10k views in a week), make it leaner, then post again - Tiktok is an algorithm master. You spend so much time planning, scripting, editing, and publishing your content just to get under 500 views. Don’t do this to yourself. Your content can literally transform someone else’s life across the globe. Every time you post a TikTok, it gets shown to people who AREN’T your followers. This is the algorithm testing your video to a new audience. Because if they showed it to your followers, of course, it would do amazing. Side note that’s why followers on TikTok is more of a status symbol and not a “loyal audience” symbol. It’s just the way they are currently playing it so ride this wave while it’s still high. Anyways, here’s is what I currently do: If my TikTok video stays under 1,000 views, I make it private only to me & then re-edit the video so I can publish V2. Then once you see your video get over 1,000 views - you can choose to leave it or up your standards I guess haha. For the ones that perform well, I then post to IG & YT shorts. And if it keeps performing better, it gets turned into a long form YT video.
It’s been a crazy last week. I did gain over +10k followers across all my social media & doubled my email list in 4 days. All from getting 1-2 short-form pieces of content viral.
I say this to be more transparent & to get you to start sharing your art online consistently.
I learned a whole bunch of lessons. These are just some of the things I have noticed on the surface level but not sure if they will work for you.
F* it, give it a shot?
But for now, go and create & don’t GAF of what your “friends’ judge you on reposting old videos. The upside is greater than what other people think of you.
Thanks for reading :)

P.s. The editing journey and bodybuilding journey have similar wisdom. I will most likely write about all the similarities in a future email so stay tuned for that!
